Wait a full 7 days before washing. During that cure window, avoid parking in direct sun for extended periods, and do not use a pressure washer near the film edges. After 7 days, normal washing is fine. Hand wash is always preferable to automated tunnels, which can lift edges over time.
Yes, but we address the chips first. Depending on severity, that may mean touch-up paint to fill the chip before the film goes over it. PPF locks in what's underneath it, so we never install over damage we have not assessed. We will walk you through what we find during our pre-installation surface audit.
